Kind Wisdom

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Buddhism teaches that joy
and happiness arise
from letting go.
There are things you've been
hanging on to that really
are not useful and deprive
you of your freedom. Find
the courage to let them go. Thich Nhat Hanh

Hong Kong Orchid Tree

Kids know many things that
ultimately they forget in
the busyness of growing up.
Like we can enjoy
without possessing.

Wherever there is
a human being,
there is an
opportunity for a kindness.

  4. I find it hard to let go of things unless I can give them to someone who will love them too and then it is easy.

  5. I know what you mean. Pat. We grow attached to things as if they have a soul or are part of ours.

  8. I've never seen a Tarp tree before. It is beautiful. Sometimes we have to let something go in order to appreciate it even more when it is gone.

  9. That should have been a Taro tree. So much for touch typing.
