Old friends are like The stars. Even when we can't see them We feel their presence in our lives. They guide us through The darkness, Reminding us We are not alone.

Old friends are like The trees, Strong and steadfast, Shelter and support. They teach us patience and resilience Showing us the beauty Of the world And ourselves.

Old friends are like The river, Always flowing Ever changing Reminding us that Life is a journey And we are all Part of the plan.

The sun, Even more beautiful When day is almost done They are always shining Even when we forget To feel it. They give us warmth and light, Reminding us of Love.


So grateful for old friends Gifts from the universe May we cherish their Warmth,

    Even if you removed the word 'old' from those sentences about friends they are true. Friends are precious.

    Friendship is the gas in my engine, the heat in my furnace, the flower in my garden, the star in my sky ... all things that matter, that is what friendships are old or new, people or fur babies ... this was a lovely post. My heart goes out to all Hawaiian's who have lived to see the awful Maui fires and the losses ... I hope you didn't lose any friends on that terrible day. Purrs to Pixie ...
