Break Out of the Clouds

 A L O H A From Honolulu!

Who has seen the rising moon break out of the clouds at midnight has been present like an archangel at the creation of light and of the world. Ralph Waldo Emerson

So let us raise a glass,

to the dinner plate hibiscus,
A mature flower,
with petals ambitious.
May your beauty always flourish,
and your colors gleam,
A reminder of nature's,
exquisite dream.

As we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
Nelson Mandela

Magic is believing in yourself.
If you can do that, you can
make anything happen.
Foka Gomez

Whenever anyone has
offended me, I try to raise
my soul so high that
the offense cannot reach it.
Rene Descartes

This horizontal branch,
thick as some trees,
joins these banyan trees.
They are actually
one tree together!

  4. The hibiscus photo reminds me that this year, out of nowhere, a hibiscus suddenly bloomed in our garden. Truly a natural miracle.

  10. The banyan tree connector is really cool, as is the magic dude in all his splendor, but nothing can hold a candle to Pixie's perfectness. Great post!

  11. Those banyan trees are simply amazing. And thank you for identifying the hibiscus flower. I used to admire them when we lived in Phoenix and in Mexico but I couldn't come up with the name the other day. They are one of my favorite blooms.
