Who has seen
the rising moon break
out of the clouds at
midnight has been present
like an archangel at
the creation of light
and of the world.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
So let us raise a glass,
to the dinner plate hibiscus,
A mature flower,
with petals ambitious.
May your beauty always flourish,
and your colors gleam,
A reminder of nature's,
exquisite dream.
As we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

This horizontal branch,
thick as some trees,
joins these banyan trees.
They are actually
one tree together!

I haven't heard anything about the Lahaina banyan tree recently. How is it doing?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could believe in myself.
ReplyDeleteI always find comfort and beauty in nature though.
Yes, to believe in myself!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about archangels 😁 but the moon breaking through clouds can be quite wonderful.
ReplyDeletePixie looks serene.
ReplyDeleteThe hibiscus photo reminds me that this year, out of nowhere, a hibiscus suddenly bloomed in our garden. Truly a natural miracle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quotes and images.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day!
The first picture of the moon is amazing.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos and quotes today, Cloudia. The banyon tree is so impressive!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
...some are ALWAYS in the clouds!
ReplyDeleteThe moon shining at night is always wonderful to see, Cloudia. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe banyan tree connector is really cool, as is the magic dude in all his splendor, but nothing can hold a candle to Pixie's perfectness. Great post!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteThose banyan trees are simply amazing. And thank you for identifying the hibiscus flower. I used to admire them when we lived in Phoenix and in Mexico but I couldn't come up with the name the other day. They are one of my favorite blooms.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots and quotes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Happy Friday.
ReplyDeleteI love your moon!!
ReplyDeleteHello beautiful moon! I have a photo of my granddaughter in front of those banyon trees at exactly that spot!
ReplyDeleteI'm late due to a busy weekend, but lovely photos. That moon is cool. Hugs to you and Pixie.
ReplyDeleteYour rising moon is magical! Have a great week.
