Trump Panders

Repeating a lie
does not make it
truth.

Perhaps Trump doesn't remember his closest college friends,
or the milestones in their lives,
but Governor Neil Abercrombie
 of Hawaii
attended the University of Hawaii with
Barack Obama Senior, and Stanley Ann Dunham,
the President's
parents.

He remembers the birth of Barack Jr.
as do many, many people
 still living here.

The President was NOT born in Kenya.

Repeating that lie,
or acting like it's
an open question at this point,
does not turn it into
Truth.

Barack H. Obama was born August 4, 1961,
at Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital
 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His mother,
Stanley Ann Dunham, was born in Wichita, Kansas,
of mostly English, but also some German,
descent.

Young Barack and Family (Mother, Grandfather, sister)
Here in Honolulu
His father, Barack Obama, Sr., was from
  Nyanza Province, Kenya.

Obama is the first President to have been
 born in Hawaii.

Obama's parents met in 1960 in a Russian language class
at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, where his father
was a foreign student on scholarship.

The couple married on February 2, 1961,
but separated when Obama Sr. went to
 Harvard University on scholarship.
They divorced in 1964.
Obama Sr. remarried
 and returned to Kenya.

"REPORTER “LIED”

ABOUT OBAMA NOT HAVING A BIRTH CERTIFICATE"

(MediaQUICKY) Hawaii’s Governor
was pissed this week at an old friend
after the reporter said the governor
told him “the state could not find
 Obama’s birth certificate”. Mike Evans
(unknown journalist to many) is now
changing his story and says he hasn’t talked to
 Hawaii’s Gov. Neil Abercrombie
 since he took office
plus the Governor NEVER said he couldn’t find the President’s birth certificate.
 Evans says he “misspoke”
 and has since then apologized.

  1. Just keep repeating what you want the masses to believe.

    Thanks for specifics Cloudia.

  2. Sad & frightening that ignorance and racism are so rampant and insidious and that too many people are so damn stupid. Sadder, is that some people believe that if it's written or said, it's true. It's amazing what you can make people believe.
Such hate-mongering. Our President has so much more to reckon with than any president before him. I'm happy for our post. Let's pool our money and take a page out in the NY Times - it's only about $35,000 +. :D

  5. We all make mistakes, whether they were decisions made when our heads were awash in anger or way to giddy with anticipate, it matters more what how it's dealt with.

And a lot of times that has a lot to do with the person who was wronged to some degree. How both sides of a situation deal with unfortunate situations, speaks volumes about the entire team.

  11. Isn't it incredible how this lie keeps going and going and going?

I hope people won't forget how Trump has gone bankrupt, because I don't really want him running for president telling people he can do a better job with our economy. Do we really want somebody with his kind of ego at the top?

  16. Political lies will forever be spun. Thank you for the post. I didn't know all of this, although, I never doubted that he was born a citizen. The republicans would have thrown him out of the running from the start if he wasn't.

  17. Oh Boy --
I thought this all started, because Hawaii is the only state in the union that does not give out birth certificates to any requesting member of the public. I think I read that this stems from those of direct, native Hawaiian decent being the only ones to acquire copies of their own or relative's birth certificates.
Several officers in Hawaii have stated that they have seen it, or verified that it is in the files, but due to the law, don't / can't issue certified copies.
Obama's doing better in the short time he's been in office, than other presidents did for many years. He's had to pick up so much stuff happening, I'm surprised he hasn't given up! DrumMajor

  19. You may 'smell' spring, but it sure doesn't feel like it!

I like President Obama (and I don't really care where he was born); it is how he was brought up here that counts and that is reflected in his common sense handling of very difficult problems right from the get-go. He speaks in a language (and to values) that we all understand, except the Rs, of course! Give him time, and he will be greater.

Much cuter than the ugly stuff said about him every day by the haters-
