Pacific Embrace

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Orange bleeds a fiery sigh,
Stately clouds sailing a tonic sky.
High blue bleeds to orange crush,
Stars peek shy and never rush

Lullaby of silent crash,
Peace descends.
Calming splash!

Agapanthus Africanus,
The African Lily
or Lily-of-the-Nile

We'll mend the cracks
We'll light the way,
Stay calm and kind
Come what may.

Bridges built
on simple things,
A smile shares hope
and comfort brings.

In every greeting
kind and warm,
Respect is power
Against all storms.

Let knowledge flow
a gentle stream,
From every voice,
a waking dream.

I believe that if you don't
derive a deep sense of purpose
from what you do, if you don't come
radiantly alive several times a day,
if you don't feel deeply grateful at
the tremendous good fortune that
has been bestowed on you, then
you are wasting your life.
And life is too short to waste.
