Once Deeply Knew

A L O H A From Honolulu!
We are the boat, we are the sea,
I sail in you, you sail in me.
Lorre Wyatt

Every time we remember
to say "thank you," we
experience nothing less
than heaven on earth. Sarah Ban Breathnach

Children are messengers
to us from a world we
once deeply knew.
Alice Miller

I travel not to go anywhere,
but to go. I travel
for travel's sake. The great affair is to move.
Robert Louis Stevenson

Stevenson was a great vagabond,
who wandered "rough" by
"throwing feet" as a youth,
gaining the voice & view that
fed his popular writing. He was
a great champion of Polynesia
later, where he supped with
chiefs and royals.

A friend is a gift
you give yourself.

It's been a long time since I've been to Hawaii. A slower pace and such beauty. Then there is Pixie.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to Pixie. ♥

"The great affair is to move" by Stevenson has me thinking of a story I read yesterday in the Post about how vital movement is to our health--as an integrated part of the day, not as the scheduled event for a half hour. Life is movement. I needed everything I found here. Thank you, Cloudia.
