Scorpion asked Froggie

for a ride across the stream

on his green back.

"You will sting me, I'm no fool."

Answered the Frog.

"Ah, but then we both

would drown!"

So it was agreed,

and they set off

across.

At the stream's deepest point

Scorpion stung.

"But now we both will drown!

Why?  Why? "

Sputtered Froggie.

Rescued Child

 A   L   O   H   A  !

  If you rescued a child,

an orphan,

living on the street.

Would you do so

in order for the child

to be your servant?

Would you put the child

to work?

 If they were not 'productive'

would you send them back

to the street?

No.

Of course the child

is valuable as a person,

a soul - 

not merely as

a producer.

So

Why do we judge

ourselves SO harshly?

We whip ourselves,

we shame ourselves-

but YOU & I

are destitute children,

renewed every day

by Unfathomable Kindness.

Ultimately,

none of our treasures

are 'earned'

though we work;

How we work!

 You are the child

in your own care-

just give  
You-CHILD-Self

the same care

you would give

a street child

sleeping on your

couch !

Golden Rule Why

The Golden Rule states:

"Treat others, as YOU wish

to be treated"

Sounds like a good 

rule of thumb.

 I have discovered

the secret corollary:

" - because YOU WILL

be treated

the same way you treat

others, "

Karma is not enforced

by book keepers.

It's not about abstract

justice;

It is more like a

chemical reaction.

Others sense 

immediately

the energy we 

bring.

 Treating others badly

turns your energy

unwholesome

over time.

Regarding others

with Aloha

sweetens. 

The life you

experience

flows from

the choices
