Klever Kate Spade

Aloha!!
Welcome to Sunday in. . .
Waikiki? Why, It's Klever Kate Spade's store
in the Royal Hawiian Shopping Center.

The left window says: "Waikiki," The right one: "New York."

Let's get a closer look, shall we?
Yellow Taxis!

Looks Like Broadway at rush hour!

But what will represent Waikiki?

Looks like . . .

Hula rush hour!

This is so funny. I love the "hula rush hour"! Have you ever been caught in one? I suppose that what's you get in the middle of a successful luau??

Well, after having just finished your book, I would have put the taxis on the other side... but if it came down to an actual rush, I'd much prefer to dance than drive.

I love these small metal toys. I always wanted to set up a whole room with toy soldiers reenacting some battle.

Aren't we humans weird?

This made me smile. New York is dead on and so is Hawaii.

hilarious, Cloudia! Typical symbols of both cities. I was a New Yorker for 5-1/2 long years and was so glad to be back in Hawaii in 1975.

Kate Spade's brother is the funny-guy David Spade, (think Just Shoot Me), maybe she shares his sense of humor. The symbols chosen for each city certainly fit the bill!

Oh, I meant to say that he was her brother-in-law. And I'm sure she didn't set up the window displays herself, but would have to approve of them.

Cloudia - You are the other side of my brain, the one that is a little, just a little more sane, ha. I of course have a new blog page, stop by to see me pretty lady. Aloha.

Oh, wow! You make me smile and laugh. I am wondering if a New Yorker would buy the cab. Funny there isn't a human counterpart to the hula girl. What would it be? The naked cowboy?

Very cute post. Aloha ha ha Cloudia.

Speaking of your book, I need to see if Travis has read it and is passing it along. Of course, with his house burning down, we've had to give him some leeway. Perhaps I'll have to get another copy to send around.

I don't know Kate Spade (been out of it too long), but I like her window and that you found and shared it.

It was very interesting for me to read this post. Thanks the author for it. I like such topics and everything that is connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
