A L O H A!
We Made it Through Another Tsunami Threat. . .
It's MORNING once again in Waikiki
you may be losing your soul."

Chinese Wisdom
Being "good with words"
means that the words
are the least & servant part
of something greater.
The story demanding to be told,
Truth that will not be silent,
Compulsion that separates
And unites. . .
This "something greater"
is what makes them good;
And sometimes-
even Great.
Aloha, Friends! Cloudia

I like the quote of William Cullen Bryant.
I know well this plant. They are a lot in Werst French Indies.
Thank goodness we didn't get the tsunami! I didn't even know until lunchtime.
Happy to hear you are safe. I wish everyone had been so lucky. What a tragedy. Aloha once again Cloudia.
If the words do not lead the reader to that calling of purpose then the words needs be written in different order.
Glad you all dodged another bullet out there on your islands. May it ever be that way.
being good with words could mean saying words that are nice to hear..
Wadda ya' mean no content? Your last three sentences are quite profound. They will take me all day to digest--7 grain hot cereal for the soul, so to speak!
Beautiful leaf colours. It must be so alarming to live under the threat of a tsunami Cloudia.
Sad to hear of the loss of life in American Samoa but equally glad you and the rest of Hawaii is safe .. aloha!
Purple is my favorite color after black
The croton you photographed is sitting on my front porch welcoming autumn!

I'm so glad you didn't get the Tsunami. Samoa not so luck though,so tragic. :(
I like that...red getting so lucky it turns purple. Purple is my favorite color...red being a close 2nd. :)
I absolutely love what you've said about being "good with words"!
When I was quite young I already had the talent to write, but i found I had not lived enough to have much to say. Now I have so much to say, I can hardly buy notebooks fast enough. (pant pant)
I just found out about the tsunami, terrible for Samoa, but I'm so glad Hawaii was spared and that you are safe, Cloudia. Nature is our ruler, that much is clear.
A story to be told...due to some unpleasend things done to my former blog had to close it.
Nevertheless would be more than honoured to see you from time to time again at:
