A L O H A From Honolulu!
Birds sing after a storm;
why shouldn't people feel
as free to delight in
whatever sunlight
remains to them?

gave thee birth, and
left thee all her
lovely hues.

It is said that if you
hold it tight
Along with your thoughts,
and dreams at night
Your wishes will
come true, for sure.

Love You,

I've topped the wind-swept
heights with easy grace
Where never lark nor
ever eagle flew—
And, while with silent
lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed
sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and
touched the face of God.
John Gillespie Magee Jr.

Pixie's face is adorable today. I love that first sky shot, and I wish I had a fan as big as the fan dancers' fans. It has been HOT in southern California these past few days.
Thank you both for the beauty you share.
Chinese fan dancing is very fun
The Magee poem I'm quite familiar with.
Love the quotes today, Cloudia.
Birds do sing after a storm, but are quiet just before here. A good warning signal of something coming. Janice
The quote from Haruki is so true!
Great sky shot.
Amazing skies, great pics. Loved the post.
Amazing sky shot!
Every photo here is spectacular. My fave is the first hibiscus image.
Worth a Thousand Words
You got me with the raindrops on the flowers.
