Seabirds feed them to their young, sometimes
dropping one, or the young do.
The anchovy which is found
in the sea at Athens,
men despise on account of
its abundance, calling it
a poor man's fish; but in
other cities, they prize it,
even where it is far

Silence is indeed profound, beautiful, and rare.
Live to taste the dawn of the day. Sounds so beautiful.
I want to thank both of you for sharing today ❤️
Beautiful post , Great pics.
Journeys do have secret destinations and sometimes when we find them, we are not happy at the time but in time we understand why they were there.
Love Pixie and her reflection!
Beautiful sky and pretty palm trees.
Take care, have a wonderful day!
...I slept in!
I hope you and Pixie will have a great THursday. In that first photo, are you up in a building, a plane or standing on a hill looking down on the city. It's a great photo. hugs-Erika
Pixie looks quite regal today, Cloudia. ;-)
Pixie is wondering if you brought that lost fishie home for her! Hmmmm. Linda in Kansas

Pixie is focused on something she see. Beautiful skies and words.
Pixie and her reflection are regal.
It is in those moments of silence when I hear God's voice.
Blessings!
I was hoping that the taste of dawn would be ambrosia, but instead it's anchovies. I guess Pixie likes anchovies better than nectar. I do love the glorious shot of the dawn sky.
Those are wonderful photos and words, the skies are beautiful. Sweet Pixie looks like she is looking up waiting for an anchovy to drop. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
The first quote sounds beautiful. Thank you.
Kind regards – Elke (Nature Thursday)
