Kind of Nobility

A L O H A From Honolulu!

I'll lift you and you lift me, and we'll both ascend together. John Greenleaf Whittier

Every second is of infinite value.
     Goethe

Weary limbs a throne of tin
King uncrowned pride within
He rules this realm of thirst relief
Oasis of summer's brief reprieve.

The city hums a tireless beat
But here it's break time
Moment of peace
Wrinkled hands burdens borne.
Private smile, well spent morn.
      Cloudia Charters

In wine there is wisdom,
in beer there is freedom,
in water there is bacteria.
   Benjamin Franklin

 To be endowed with
a generous mind,
 this is the best
kind of nobility.
            Plato

How beautifully you captured the tired man's moment of rest.
Everything in life has value,
I remember when I was doing a very tedious task while sitting I enjoyed it so much!!

I love the ladies in their pink skirts. One of them has her hand over her eyes, what a great view. I hope you have a super T day. And Pixie too.

Sorry to be so late visiting. Both my arthritis and my lupus flared up last night.

I really like the three ladies dressed alike. What a great photo. Pixie looked good on the rug, too. I really, really enjoyed the man with the various drinks, and I loved the Rainbow. Thanks for sharing these with us, as well as the drink reference, for T this Tuesday, dear Cloudia.
