Softer Truths In Lighter Air

A L O H A  From
H O N O L U L U

Calm minds bring
 inner peace and
self-confidence,
so that’s very important
for good health.
   Dalai Lama

Green is
the fresh emblem of
well-founded hopes.
John Paul Caponigro

Perennial Yellow Day-lily
Color is the
 place where our brain
and the universe meet.
   Paul Klee

We who live at the edge
Where the veil of illusion thins,
Breathe the worlds
Softer truths
In lighter air
And the view is vast.

Go, brave ones,
Plunge into the depths,
Unravel the layers,
Drink the marrow of mysteries.
We cheer you.

But when the weight
Grows heavy,
When the maze never ends
Return.
We will meet you here
At the edge,
Where stillness awaits.

Our daylilies are pushing up out of the ground for another year of blooming. They are in a very difficult spot, but they keep on keeping on.

Day lilies are amazing flowers. They grow just about anywhere, and their blooms are bright spots of color.
