The sky and the water
Are mirrors of each other.
One reflects infinity,
The other possibility.
Sky meets the water
At the horizon like
Our dreams meet reality
Clouds drift across the sky
Ripples dance on water;
Both remind us:
Change is the only constant.
Water and sky hold the
Promise of new beginnings
And the wisdom
Of endless journeys.
Water teaches us to flow
Sky teaches us to soar
Together, they show us
The art of balance.

Even the opposite side
has an opposite side.
Traditional Japanese wisdom
He who knows only
his own side of the case
knows little of that.
J. S. Mill
Poets utter great
and wise things
which they do not
themselves understand.
Plato
The wisdom of the ages
lives not in what we own,
but in how we live and
how we love,
in how we mend
what has been torn,
and how we cherish
what remains.

"What a beautiful and profound post. The way you've captured the essence of the sky and water is just stunning. 'Water teaches us to flow, Sky teaches us to soar' I absolutely adore that! And those quotes are just perfect. Such a lovely reminder to appreciate the beauty and wisdom all around us. Aloha.
Pixie is curious about the doggie.
...thanks for IZ!
I like the poetry quote. I think there is some truth to it.
