Raise the Noodle

A  L  O  H  A !

"I love my view of Honolulu

Lately, 

this worm, or noodle

has emerged

 from the murky depths

of the Ala Wai canal.

It seems benign,

 if ugly,

and decidedly

 un-tropical paradise

It was a submerged 

sewer by-pass

enabling the 

City & County of Honolulu

to repair Waikiki's aging

 netherworld.

Now,

 these Civil Saint George's

are slaying the scaly thing:

draining, floating,

preparing it 

to be hoist away.

These 

are the ACTUAL persons

who keep our infrastructure

 working,

ALL over the world.

Let's appreciate them!
