Dues and Choices

A L O H A !

" Mistakes are part of

 the dues one pays

for a full life. "

                Sophia Loren

“ We all carry within us
places of exile,
our crimes, our ravages.
Our task is not to
unleash them
on the world;

- it is to transform them
in ourselves and others.”

Shelter

A  L  O  H  A !

“ Each evening, I

ached for the shelter

of my tent, for

the smallest sense that

something was shielding me

from the entire rest

of the world, keeping me

 safe not from danger, but

from vastness itself. ”
