Drifting slowly
through deep blue
Glowing on the edges
Inside a rain-
drenched hue."

"Details of the many walks
I made along the crest
have blurred, now, into a
pleasing tapestry of grass
and space and sunlight."

A Spectacle Grander
A L O H A !
"There is one spectacle
grander than the sea,
that is the sky; there is
one spectacle grander
than the sky, that is
the interior of the soul. "

"The soul should always
stand ajar, ready to
welcome the
ecstatic experience."
Emily Dickinson
"All the great religions
have a place for awe,
for ecstatic transport
at the wonder and
beauty of creation."
Richard Dawkins
“Forget the years,
forget distinctions.
Leap into the
boundless and make
it your home!”

Keep Cool
A L O H A !
"Should you shield the
canyons from windstorms
you would never see the
true beauty of their carvings."
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
"One's destination
is never a place,
but a new way
of seeing things."
Henry Miller
"Believe one who knows:
you will find something
greater in woods than
in books. Trees and stones
will teach you that which you
can never learn from masters."
Saint Bernard de Clairvaux
"Keep cool;
anger is not
an argument."
Daniel Webster
