The World globes itself

in a drop of dew.

So do we put our

life into every act.

     Emerson

Life may not be the party we hoped for,

but while we're here we should dance.

         Grandma Proverb

 Rooster in Waikiki

That soul, which within us is a sentiment,

outside of us is a law. We feel it’s inspiration;

out there in history we can see it’s fatal strength. . . Justice is not postponed. A perfect equity

adjusts it’s balance in all parts of life.

The dice of God are always loaded.

Those Of Us

A    L    O    H    A   !

The largest unrecognized

natural resource is the

mental health of society.

And that is preciously what is

being extremely stressed today.

Those of us who lived through

the AIDS crisis

consider that we are being

triggered emotionally by

the current virus!

Keeping Calm,

taking a beat, is

a radically

important act!

While you'll feel compelled to charge forward

it's often a gentle step back that

will reveal to you where you

and what you truly seek.

Reflective Moment

Simplicity Pledge

A    L    O    H    A  !

You couldn't just pick and choose at will

when someone depended on you,

or loved you.

It wasn't like a light switch,

easy to turn on or off.

If you were in, you were in.

Out, you were out.

           Sarah Dessen

Strange how complicated

we can make things just

to avoid showing

what we feel!

        Erich Maria Remarque

“It is not so long ago that a member of the Diplomatic Body in London, who had spent some years of his service in China, told me that there was a Chinese curse which took the form of saying, ‘May you live in interesting times.’ There is no doubt that the curse has fallen on us.”

“We move from one crisis to another. We suffer one disturbance and shock after another.”

                            Sir Austen Chamberlain,

addressing the annual meeting of Birmingham Unionist Association

March, 1936

The most complicated skill

As I have practiced it, photography produces

pleasure by simplicity. I see something special

and show it to the camera. A picture is produced.

The moment is held until someone sees it.

Then it is theirs.

Lions don't have to roar.

Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth

Your ancient gladness!

Science has never drummed up

W. Earl Hall

In Spring, everything is full of promise....

The child sporting upon the lawn, and

the season, sympathize together, and

nature rejoices in her virgin loveliness.
