Teddy bears don’t

need hearts as

they are already

stuffed with love.

They like to go on

morning picnics in

the summertime, so

they can enjoy

the sunshine.

The sun lay like

a friendly arm

across her shoulder.

Margorie Kinnan Rawlings

A light wind swept

over the corn, and

all nature laughed

in the sunshine.

Anne Bronte

The sign of intelligence

New Versions

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Higher, higher,

burning fire,

making music

like a choir!

William Hjortsberg

Every act is either

an act of love

or a cry for love.

 Jay Shetty

Sometimes, you have to

look back in order

to understand the

things that lie ahead. Yvonne Woon

If you do not fill your

energetic field with

new experiences,

new ideas, and new

versions of yourself,

your field becomes

dim and worn,

bored with the

same old story.

    Barbara Marciniak

The world is going through

a period of crisis, but

whether we look at it

as a crisis or as an

opportunity to reshape

our thinking, depends

on us. So use

this period as a

lesson on how to

live life with a

concern for all

of humankind.

Breathe

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Breathe in, breathe out.

Forget this, and

attaining enlightenment

will be the least

of your problems.

[Joke]

There are not many

original shapes or silhouettes -

- only a million variations.

    Charles James

Sometimes, I post a quote

to see your response to it.

They are not

sanctioned pronouncements,

merely suggestions,

baubles for your day.

Is every shape unique?

This quote seems

too narrow to me.

What is specific about

this Red-Vented Bulbul?

See the claw?

When walking through

the 'valley of shadows,'

remember, a shadow

is cast by a Light.

  Austin O'Malley

Whether you agree

They are to be

   Samuel Johnson

Fight for the things

that you care about,

but do it in a way

that will lead

others to join you.

Beacon Bountiful

 A L O H A From Honolulu!

Modest doubt is called

the beacon of the wise.

Shakespeare

Become a beacon of

enhancement, and then,

when the night is gray,

all of the boats will

move towards you,

bringing their

bountiful riches.

James Altucher

Let your watchword

The way to mend

No matter what you do

if it isn't genuine,

it's not worth doing,

if it isn't meant

with good heart

it's not worth saying,

and if it's a darkness

around you perhaps it's

not worth remembering.

Carry Within

A L O H A From Honolulu!

In the sky there are

always answers

and explanations

for everything:

every pain, every

suffering, joy

and confusion.

    Ishmael Beah

There are worlds of

experience beyond the

world of the aggressive man,

beyond history, and

beyond science.

The moods and qualities of

nature and the revelations

of great art are equally

difficult to define;

- we can grasp them

only in the depths of

our perceptive spirit.

Ansel Adams

Grandmothers are a gift

not to be taken lightly.

I am glad my bones were

born with this knowledge.

She taught me how to

become a good ancestor.

 Nikita Gill

I carry within me

the heart of a warrior,

the mind of a pharaoh,

the soul of a goddess

and the wisdom of

my grandmothers'

grandmothers.

Turn Out Great

A L O H A From Honolulu!

So often in life,

things that you regard

as an impediment turn

out to be great,

good fortune. Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Feed yourself the

beauty of the world,

of life itself.

A steady diet

of problems

is no good

The people sang and danced

around in circles, and

sometimes I'd see a dog,

running and jumping

among them, as full of

joy as the people were.

   Eben Alexander

Running around in circles

was all they needed.
