Relish

A L O H A From Honolulu!

We're all traveling

through time together,

every day of our lives.

All we can do

is do our best to relish

this remarkable ride

Richard Curtis

Apprehension, uncertainty,

waiting, expectation,

fear of surprise, do a

patient more harm

than any exertion

Florence Nightingale

A child can teach an adult three things: to be happy for no reason, to always be busy with something, and to know how to demand with all his might that which he desires.

Paulo Coelho

If you want to be a different fish,

jump out of school.

Don Van Vliet

When you bait the hook

with your heart, the

fish always bite.

John Burroughs

"Fish?"

You can't calm the storm,

so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass. Timber Hawkeye

Unleash Your Inner Sparkle

A L O H A From Honolulu!

When life gives you Monday,
dip it in glitter and

sparkle all day!
Ella Woodward

Rainbow often imparts

Wisdom to people with hearts.

Teaching to cherish

The hours of each day,

To find the good

To make life play

Always to be kind,

And true

No matter what

The world might do.

A fleeting glimpse, a passing dream,
Rainbow's kiss, her colors gleam
Even the smallest things,
Can bring us happiness,

if we only let them sing.

In the passing scene

Around my neighborhood,

I see the cycle of life.

Children playing,

Adults working, and seniors resting.

I see the changing seasons,

Yes, even in Hawaii.

Flowers bloom, tourists come and go.

It is the beauty of everyday life!

I myself am made

entirely of flaws,

stitched together with

good intentions.

Augusten Burroughs

Anger may feel powerful and righteous,

but it doesn't help anyone.

It pushes solutions further away

and it beclouds thinking.

Kittens Playing Baseball

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Remember, we all stumble,

every one of us.

That's why it's a comfort

to go hand in hand.

Emily Kimbrough

True love does not just

choose one person.

When true love is there,

you shine like a lamp. You

don't just shine on one person

in the room. That light you emit

is for everyone in the room.

If you really have love in you,

everyone around you will profit-

not only humans, but animals,

plants, and minerals.

Love, true love, is that.

Thich Nhat Hanh

The good and the wise
lead quiet lives.
Euripides

Do your little bit of good

where you are; it's

those little bits of good

put together that

overwhelm the world.

The Phillies' journey to the World Series

has been a Cinderella story.

One more series to get there!
