...tops and bottoms rarely meet these days.
John Burroughs knew what was important and sought solace in nature. Now we relentlessly destroy nature. It’s interesting that in the picture of the rainbow the foreground is dominated by apartment buildings, where humankind has subdued nature. And so it continues.
