Do you know that even when you look at a tree and say, ‘That is an oak tree’, or ‘that is a banyan tree’, the naming of the tree, which is botanical knowledge, has so conditioned your mind that the word comes between you and actually seeing the tree? To come in contact with the tree you have to put your hand on it and the word will not help you to touch it.

Great post today! I love the quote about our need to touch the trees. I wondered what Pixie was gazing at. I think she's trying to decipher that girl's tattoos.
Hello,
Great photos, I always enjoy your sky photos.
The tree and quote are wonderful.
Pixie is a sweetie.
Take care, have a wonderful week!
Each of these voices reminds us that truth, beauty, and clarity arise when we look beyond words, labels, and perspectives to truly see, touch, and understand.
Have a nice day.
Those tats are amazing, Cloudia. ;-)
So the quote for me to ponder today is the da Vinci one. I always think of the pain that someone has endured to put body art on themselves.
I love the idea that you can truly get to know a tree only when you touch the bark. Blessings, Cloudia!

I like that!
...life is all about the details.
All of your photos are lovely but that second one is amazing.
Thanks so much for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2025/09/a-visit-to-mount-rushmore.html
Impressive tattoos!
Lovely photo's and quote again.
That last pic: it takes all kinds.
All beautiful pics. I like the art-lover at the end! #TforTuesday
What an amazing post, Cloudia. "Details make perfection, and perfection is not a detail." da Vinci had it right. I also loved "Every story has three sides. Yours, mine and the facts." I totally agree.
The back of my hair is like that of the lady with the tattoos. She certainly makes an impression with her drink. Thanks for sharing this with us for T this Tuesday, dear.
That's a lot of tattoos.
