Dots

A   L   O   H   A  !

You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.

So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.

You have to trust in something-

your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.

This approach has never let me down, and

it has made all the difference in my life.

Take Time To Smell The Flowers

Look Over and Around Obstacles

A     L    O    H    A   !

The best way to live your life is to go

to the other side of the rainbow young,

but at a very old age.

Youth is the best time to be rich;

and the best time to be poor.

                 Euripides

The mind is its own place, and in itself

can make a Heav’n of Hell,

a Hell of Heav’n.

           John Milton

When riding a motorcycle [or bicycle]

it is important NOT to

focus on holes and bumps ahead.

Notice them, then invest your attention

in the path around and through them.

Your path follows your gaze.

Notice what is happening.

But FOCUS on Peace,

Neighborliness,

riding on safely.

Do not let

where you do not want to go

fill your eye, thoughts, heart.

Or you will go there.

Flying is a lot like playing a musical instrument;

you're doing so many things and thinking

of so many other things, all at the same time.

It becomes a spiritual experience.

Something wonderful happens

in the pit of your stomach.

       Dusty Mctavish

More than anything else, the sensation of flying

is one of perfect peace mingled with an

excitement that strains every nerve to the utmost -

if you can conceive of such a combination.

Animals, like us, are living souls.

They are not things.

They are not objects.

Neither are they human.

Yet they mourn. They love.

They dance. They suffer.

They know the peaks and chasms of being.
