All The Windows

A L O H A From

H O N O L U L U

All the windows
of my heart
I open to the day.
John Greenleaf Whittier

As the shadow

follows the body,

As we think,

so we become.

Buddha

With happiness

comes intelligence

to the heart.

Chinese proverb

If we opened our minds

to enjoyment,

we might find

tranquil pleasures spread

about us on every side.

We might live with the angels

that visit us on every sunbeam,

and sit with the fairies

who wait on every flower.

Samuel Smiles

There is one piece of advice, in a life of study... and that is, every now and then to be completely idle - to do nothing at all.

Sydney Smith

Past In The Present

A L O H A From
H O N O L U L U

True happiness is. . . to enjoy the present. Seneca

We didn't realize

we were making memories,

we just knew we

were having fun.

Winnie the Pooh

A moment

lasts for seconds,

but a memory

lasts a lifetime.

Pixie's

Mother Used To Say

Every positive thought

we pass between us

makes room for

more light.

And if we do more

than think, then

our actions clear the path

for even more light.

John Lewis

A happy memory is

perhaps on this earth

truer than happiness itself.

Wave Realeased

A L O H A From

Sailing slow

to inner peace,

Wave inside

and wave released—

Ocean’s heart

and outer blue

Mirror all the soul

goes through.

The deepest desire

The truth is,

you are either

here to enlighten

My thanks is given.

What is here
is what it is.
Surprise!
It is enough.

Look at the bright side

of life and the

bright side will

look at you.

The reflections

we send out

always return.

Ron Baratono

Do you know that even when you look at a tree and say, ‘That is an oak tree’, or ‘that is a banyan tree’, the naming of the tree, which is botanical knowledge, has so conditioned your mind that the word comes between you and actually seeing the tree? To come in contact with the tree you have to put your hand on it and the word will not help you to touch it.
J. Krishnamurti.
