The more often we see
the things around us -
even the beautiful and
wonderful things -
the more they become
invisible to us. That is
why we often take for
granted the beauty of
this world: the flowers,
the trees, the birds,
the clouds - even those
we love. Because we
see things so often,
we see them less and less.

Petals unfurl
With laughter at dawn,
Winter’s chill swept
And finally gone.
In a sunlit hush,
Colors ignite
Hope pirouettes
Into morning light.

touch them,

they will lead you
to your destiny.

Your poem beautifully captures that awakening, as nature dances back to life and invites us to notice it anew.
I was thinking that the little girl does yoga about the same way I do, and then I saw Pixie in her meditative pose and thought: "That's my yoga guru!" Great post today. I love that shadowy artsy shot with all the greenery.
I am a beauty addict and I think/hope that I don't ignore it. Hugs to you and Pixie.
Thank You Dears
Pixie is looking serious this morning. Beautiful photos of the flowers.
Have a nice day!
Great sky :-D
I find that is true about not seeing the things that are habitually around us.
What lovely photographs and perfect quotes to accompany them. A nice start to the day.
...be a star and kep on shining!
Good morning to you and Pixie...thanks for providing delightful beauty for the eye and words to touch the soul.
Pixie looks ready for another nap. I can relate.
A beautiful post, Cloudia. ;-)
May we all follow our dreams. Blessings, Cloudia!
Lets indeed follow our dreams and who knows.
I especially love the shadows you captured in the second photo. That little girl doing yoga with her mom is precious. It made a great T Tuesday photo, too. Thanks for sharing Pixie, your photos, and your poem with us for T this Tuesday.
The Wirthlin quote was thought-provoking. I need to do a better job of not taking things for granted.
Great colors in the last picture.
Pixie is looking serious :)
The 1st photo is amazing!
Beautiful as always. Pixie is the most beautiful.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to Pixie. ♥
