 How disheartening

to see this stump.

It had been

a lovely tree I

saw most every day-

What fierce blossoms,

and welcome shade it

gave us for years

 How long does it take

for a dead, stump

in dry dirt

to come to life?

It's just been a 

couple months it seems!
