Autumnus Autompne

Archaic words for a season young each year-
A   L   O   H   A  !

Seasons Of Love (Album Version) by Rent Soundtrack on Grooveshark

" Nature gives to every
 time and season
some beauties
 of its own. . .
it is but a succession of
 changes
so gentle and easy
 that we can scarcely
 mark their progress.  "

Charles Dickens

“A kind heart
 is a fountain of gladness,
making everything
in its vicinity
 freshen into
smiles.”

 Washington Irving

" Live
 in rooms
 full of
 light. "

Cornelius Celsus

" To be interested
 in the changing seasons
 is a happier state
of mind
 than to be
 hopelessly
 in love with
 spring.  "

George Santayana

 Spring = Youth?

 Yes, I feel Autumn;
Smell it too.
Here on Oahu
it is
Bright,
with some
wind & rain
that cleanses,
passes.

Seasons of the year,
seasons of life
always sing
of seasons passed-

- Of other streets
we have walked
in other seasons,
other climes,
other times. . .

" It is always in season
 for old ones
to learn.  "

Aeschylus

Every heartbeat is a new season and a new chance to decide which season will rule the moment.

I love the seasonal change. My garden is nearly done. We woke to 4 C. (39 F.) today. It was brisk!
Cheers from Cottage Country!

To me autumn always feels a bit like May. Creating. Can't wait for it to arrive over here. Please have you all a good new week ahead.

I do enjoy your closing quote and especially the photo. I too favor rooms with light, but from windows most of all.- Enjoy these days of September, maybe they won't flee as quickly as August did- Karen
