Random Acts of Loveliness

A L O H A From Honolulu!
To gild refined gold,
to paint the lily,
To throw a perfume
on the violet,
To smooth the ice,
or add another hue
Unto the rainbow, or
with taper-light
To seek the beauteous
eye of heaven to garnish,
Is wasteful and
ridiculous excess.

Out in the lonely woods
the jasmine burns
Its fragrant lamps, and turns
Into a royal court
with green festoons
The banks of
dark lagoons.

True friends are those
who lift you up when your heart's wings
forget how to fly. Anonymous

without remembering
and always receive
without forgetting. Brian Tracy
