We see it all, yet
rebelliously choose
to put on the armor
of Hope, waving banners
of Celebration & Beauty.
Sometimes we cry.
Because we have hearts.
I would not have that
otherwise.
And so the Battle of Life
continues. Some in the
trenches, some watching
from the hills of retirement.
Some blind to it all.
