" Some people think
 luxury
is the opposite of
 poverty.
 It is not.
 It is the opposite of
vulgarity. "

Coco Chanel

"The only real elegance

 is in the mind;

 if you’ve got that,

 the rest really comes from it."

Diana Vreeland

Oatmeal
is synonymous
with 'bland'
But Not
O A T M E A L
of the
g O D S.

I eat this
most every morning
and will not here describe
the health benefits
of these ingredients,
but I will say
we prefer organic
for several reasons.

OOTg Recipe`

OOTg varies
depending on what
nuts & seeds I have;
BUT certain things
make it OOTg:

Curry Powder
lots of it, at least a Tsp.
Fresh Ground Pepper
to taste,
Cinnamon - lots,
Raisins - lots,
Raw Pumpkin Seeds-
generous dash,
Flax seed - tablespoon or lots more,
Psyllium - dash (shhh)
To these ingredients
I add a few (of each)
Almonds,
Walnuts,
Pecans,
Cashews
(or others
 whatever available)
 Raw.

I add all the above
to 1 serving of
 Whole Grain Oatmeal
of my choice;
[ I like
then prepare the 'slurry'
per oat meal instructions:
generally 1/2 cup
oatmeal
(minus other ingredients)
to 1 cup water,
add dry oatmeal
and water to
 other ingredients
in a saucepan;
bring to simmer,
I like to add a dash
of Sriracha, and/or
grated garlic
 to the
cooking OOTg
while it simmers.

Simmer,
 occasionally stirring,
to your desired consistency
(I enjoy it pretty solid)
cover, remove from heat,
let stand 1 minute.

Plop into a bowl
occupied by a peeled
banana.

Optional:

Dust with Chocolate Chips,
or Nutritious Yeast,
or Currants,
or What Have You.

YUMMY!
NOT Boring!
Healthy!

Wow, it's difficult
to write a simple
unambiguous recipe!
Hope you try OOTg
and enjoy it.

Bon Appetite
