Calmly Care Deeply

 Yet weightless as feathers.

A L O H A From Honolulu!

Happiness is a warm puppy.

Charles M. Schulz

For over a year,
it didn't feel wise
to go outside
into the strange night.

The streets I know
were empty with
foreboding.
It didn't feel safe.

Here is my first
outdoor Night Photo
in over a year!

During Hurricane Iniki, fish were swimming
in the Honolulu streets. This is nicer!

We all struggle at times

and when you see

somebody struggling,

you think, ‘Gee, that

guy is being a jerk.

Well, sometimes

you’re that jerk.

Dwight Lambert

The flowers take the tears

of weeping night, and

give them to the sun

for the day's delight.

. ⴰ ⵔ ⵙ ⴱ ⵀ ⴲ ⵁ ⵔ

It has been over a year.
And it's been tough.

Life's simplest tasks
suddenly gargantuan,
scary, difficult.
Simple things, difficult to find.

Wrapped in isolation.
Streets empty.
Routines gone.

Every person in the world
at whatever level or condition
has surfed major change;

Our carefully balanced
life-houses of cards upended.
Some tossed on the floor,
some scattered to the winds.

Even those of us still here
are different.

And that change
is just beginning.
Revealing
new ways of winning.

Let's worry less, listen more,
calmly care deeply, yet
weightless as feathers.

New ways emerging.
I want to see what they are.
Don't You?

Be gentle with yourself.
And with all others.
Arguments
are SO old way,
Before Times;
Spent.

Flutter by gently.
This moment reeks
of Eternity,
Yet flies at the speed
of a blink.

Love You - Good Luck,
