At the Clinic

A   L   O   H   A  !

Routine Appointment

Waiting for the physician

in that little room

(without a window)

there is too much 

Time

perhaps a second,

maybe 5 more minutes,

to Think.

Standing before the mirror

washing hands below,

I looked-

DEEPLY looked

at the face I really have

today.

One clear truth

formed in my mind,
