But we continue

to move towards

our better aspirations

and so do nations.

As the birthday

of the United States

passes let us not focus

on mistakes and

shortcomings.

Let us celebrate

the angels of

our better nature

as Lincoln said.

I love what America

is supposed to be

all about.

All we can do

is strive together

all over the world

till hatred is abolished.

Till our virtue's polished.

Till we all see 

a brother or sister,

and not skin color

or a uniform.

Let it begin

with me.
