way too young 
gave me, 
some skills
that still inform
my life today.

Maturing too young
can make one 
a child's version
of an adult.
But you can also
continue to grow
through a succession
of maturities.

When you are 
young
walking into adult 
situations
[ like renting a room ]
it is important
to act 
like you belong 
there.

Never crane your neck
looking at all the 
tall buildings
 like a visitor,
but walk &
 behave as if 
you were born there,
that this is 
Your Turf.
