Insubstantial Oceans

A L O H A From Honolulu!
Each morning
we are born again.
What we do today is
what matters most.
Buddha

Give every day
the chance to become
the most beautiful
day of your life.
   Mark Twain

The first hour
of the morning
is the rudder
of the day.
    Henry Ward Beecher

We think of the present
as the tiny, insubstantial
 razor's edge
between the ocean of the past
and the vast unknown space of
tomorrows without end.

We trick ourselves into devaluing
the present moment
- really all we have -
to the point where
we completely miss it!

Don't rob yourself
of your real wealth.

The Present
is the ocean.
Here is
where we breathe.
