He Aliʻi ke Aloha

"Love Is Chief"
A L O H A From Honolulu!
Queen of Hibiscus seemed wide as a plate!
One should handle
all beings as if they
were mother, father,
brother, sister, child,
 friend, or relative.

What a Full Breath LOOKS like
Breathe deeply, until sweet air extinguishes the burn
of fear in your lungs
and every breath is
a beautiful refusal to
become anything less
than infinite.
  D. Antoinette Foy

Refreshment Reflections
Love is the greatest
refreshment in life.

The memory of things gone
is important to a jazz musician.
Things like old folks singing
in the moonlight
in the backyard on
a hot night or something
said long ago.
   Louis Armstrong

Things that touch us
 when we are very young
have a special resonance
 life-long; Even more so
in mature years.

- but the chief of these is love.
 1 Corinthians 13:13
