What a beautiful wedding portrait of your grandparents, Cloudia! I used to share Shel Silverstein's poems with my 2nd/3rd grade students every year. What fun to pair it with pretty Pixie. Did you see the gorgeous rainbow over Waikiki this morning? It filled me with hope.

So much said in this post ... human existence is really at risk more than I can ever remember (I was an infant during WWII, so I don't remember it) and we all feel helpless to stop it. Your wonderful Grandparents lived at a time when we could take pride in our country. I wonder now, what ever happened to the joy in love of country. On a happier note ... Pixie's reflection picture is awesome :)
