Sufficient Unto-

Aloha Friend!

These Japanese ladies have the right idea:
 Sun Protection

"On vacations: We hit the sunny beaches
where we occupy ourselves keeping the sun off our skin,
 the saltwater off our bodies,
and the sand out of our belongings."

Erma Bombeck

Anything to distract ourselves, eh?

 East Oahu's Kaiwi Coastline.
Awesome Nature / Tiny fishermen (See them?)

"It's a privilege

to

grow old."

"Cathy"
Protagonist on Showtime's
 'The Big C'

"Only that day dawns to which we are awake.

There is more day to dawn.

The sun is but a morning star."

Henry David Thoreau

My motto for today:

"It is enough."

Just for today
I will celebrate
the things that I have
accomplished.

Dwelling on the unfinished,
the never-enough,
is paralyzing.

But reminding myself
that
"It is enough"
makes today
a happy celebration-
and teases my appetite
for
tomorrow.

Give yourself
a pat on the back.

I like your motto for the day.

Kind of reminds me that getting lost is more readily accomplished if one doesn't occasionally stop and look around.

Thanks Coudia, I'm patting myself on the back right now. Great message. I love the pictures.

That was beautiful. I, just like everyone else, have the tendency to alway see what I do not have, instead of trying to look at what I have actually achieved.;)
Thank you for reminding me off that.
And thank you for your visit and a kind comment.;)

A fine contrast between the photo with blue sky/water and the photo with the orange and red sky with darker water.

Well-done.

Just a step short of deciding to "study again", this surely was much felt. Thank you for the continuation of the Good and Beautiful. Something much needed over here.
Please have a wonderful Thursday.

Love those solid orange sun scenes, no where except Hawaii. Goin' to my indoor Kansas pool again today, with it's wide painting of a beach scene on the wall--with my lovely 79 and 84 year-old neighbors--an old Navy pilot (Korea, stationed in Hawaii) and his wife, a former diving champ.
Cloudia -- a new, younger, single nurse colleague spent over a year in Honolulu. She LOVES your "taxi" book I gave her and is enjoying rowdy rides around your town again....and remembers all the street names! DrumMajor
