through a succession

walking into adult
situations
[ like renting a room ]
it is important
to act
like you belong
there.
Never crane your neck
looking at all the
tall buildings
like a visitor,
but walk &
behave as if
you were born there,
that this is
Your Turf.

BE Cool!
Walk with confidence
but not swagger.
The Earth
is Yours,
ALL of it-

i think you always looked like you belonged there. :)
I know coaches sometimes tell football players that when you score a touchdown act like you've been in the endzone before. Sounds like this is similar advice.
