George Washington Carver nailed it.
Beautiful birdies, love 'em.
Love the quote about saying nothing!
Sorry for slow reply, I've been working away from home.

Every quote was a winner today, Cloudia! And great birds!
You wonder what that bird thinks of the fake one!
Thanks my friends
Great bird photos.
all quotes are great, especially: "A truly happy person

Have a great day
Great post. Funny thing, just yesterday enjoying a detour came up in conversation with my daughter. We saw one of the lighted signs saying there was a delay ahead due to an accident so I swung off at the first exit even though I was in unfamiliar territory. The GPS did not help because it wanted us to go back on the highway. But I had a feeling the detour went to Frederick (Maryland) which was on our way home. It did, but first it took us through historic Ellicott City, which my daughter had never seen although she had heard of it. It was an interesting little side trip and I mentioned how her grandmother enjoyed detours and even getting lost!
Perfection is unattainable. Sometimes I try for it too much. I'll bet the Tibetan monks never get there either.
Nice quotes
Hello. Beautiful bird photos.
Your comments are candy! Thanks
Great quotes. I also like the American Goldfinch, so different to ours in the UK.
Saying nothing is a good plan.
I also enjoyed your selection of quotes -- especially the one about the detour. It's always more appropriate to enjoy a detour than to fret about having to take it. And sometimes, as noted by Linda above, it leads to unexpected discoveries.
