The Ego Has Landed

ALOHA

or a blog?) is a mirror:
If an ape looks into it,
and apostle is unlikely to look out."
George Christoph Lichtenberg

Love means to "let be."
My ministry
is to love the person in front of me
to meet them where they are
and any preaching I do
is to express appreciation
for all that person does.
God says:
"Thank You."
That's the message I've been given.

I realize this is very different
from those who tell victims
of a disaster
that it was meant as divine punishment.

I'm OK
with that.

Amen.

...You make me want to send Pat Robertson a bunch of bananas. The scale of the man's ignorance is stunning.

For a man who uses the words god and lord as often as he does, and so many others like him, it is no mystery to me why they are so well off.

They have made a pact with the devil.

Amen, Sista! Beautifully said. Pat Robertson would call his own mother evil if it got him a clip on CNN (my humble opinion).

I can't even wrap my head around the idea that a "Christian" would tell people they are hated by God and that's why they had an earthquake. Hell, I have a hard time believing a human being would do that. But I know it happened.

I think you got the spiritual thing right, and Mr. Robertson got it horribly wrong. As ever, you've shared your perspective with grace. I always leave here inspired. Thank you for always finding the good.

Thanks you lovely people!

You are a wonderful minister, Cloudia. I'd go to your church of life. I get so tired of some of these religious leaders who think they are GOD in condeming others.

For at least two years now I don't watch a single minute TV. Thank you however for providing the wish to start again...yet, it might be possible to listen to something I don't like, better I'll stay with your site and its comfort.
Please have a wonderful Friday.
