Just being born an average person:
no wealth,
no connections,
no extraordinary talents,
no extraordinary luck,
is the greatest challenge,
and adventure
in the universe.
What do YOU think?

I love the pictures and quotes in this Rhapsody!
Ruth is correct.
Many answers And to know the nearest correct one is called awareness.
I think I needed to see this. I've been thinking I'm old for quite a while, and I'll bet I'm not.
Right? :-)

Wow ~ amazing!
It's good to be average :) As I approach my 60th birthday the adventure is continuing and always surprising me.
Aloha my friend.

What a sweet person...Galen
you sweet biker-guy!
trying to be a good person in this world of excess is pretty tough. I'll say that.
Fabulous shots! And yes, life is an adventure - the greatest one there is.
Beautiful!
Aloha from Casa!

Thank you for the connection.

Very nice, do you think that The Neurotic's Notebook is still in print?

Wise words Cloudia.
It is a RIDE like no other-when we take it moment by moment, curve by curve....

Life itself is the adventure, do't you think?
I like the saying about youth being gone much later than we think. I know mine is gone, definitely, or is it?
Ever?
Life is only beatiful with "more love". I know it and always say it, only big prescription...
Aloha sister!
Rhapsodiasical! What a great word! You need to copyright that one. Back from almost two weeks away.. and in the very slow process of catching up.
Being average gives me something to strive for AND a rest from striving.
Aloha, my friend!
wow I can relate so much to this post. Those 3 quotes are very thought provoking. I like the idea of there being so many possible answers to all of our questions. I used to struggle a lot more with decision making but I am better at just making my move and learning from the good, and the bad that may come from those choices.
Thanks for being such a great bloggy friend, your posts are always so thoughtful.
Sending you a big hug from sunny socal!
Being ordinary is an adventure. Because it can be so decent and fulfilling to share the road with so many kindred spirits!
For me a single answer would be enough, hearing that it is "worth". Thank you for lifting me up much during this night.
Getting "older / oldish" is interesting, as I try to convince my younger co-workers. But they're really confused when I act younger than they...gotta keep the little kid in me popping up sometimes to keep them on their toes. One should not take themselves too seriously. DrumMajor
My friend's daughter just moved to Hawaii this week so now I must pay more attention to your pics to see if once again you will capture someone I know.
Hello, Island-type person. :-)

Being an ordinary person myself, I could agree with that.
I can see you must be crusing on your bike all over the place.
Einstein quote is interesting.
Cheers.
