Honolulu Landing

Aloha!

Today We Have a Guest Poetess-

My Science Report, by Shay Caroline
Her Site Here

Clouds do not have bones,
And so live in the sky.

If they fall,
They will not break anything,
And when they fall we call it
Rain.

After The Rain,
They cannot find their bodies again,
And so they
Disappear.

Blue skies do not have clouds.
Clouds do not have bones.
That is all I have to say.

Now place your tray tables in closed and upright position. We will be landing in Honolulu momentarily.
(Around 57 seconds in, you can see the harbor where I am writing this. Wave!)

Happy Thanksgiving, Cloudia! To your guest poetess, too! I will be landing in your lovely land in a couple of weeks. It is, indeed, a paradise; I always enjoy those business trips that take me there.

Wish I was on that plane! Happy weekend, cher! Aloha!

Eloquent. yet succinct. Did you notice the small bird enter the intake at time 2:46?

Just kidding...

Great video. I didn't see you waving back and got a little disappointed. I loved the photos and the poem, but I felt the science project to be somewhat lacking in research. Everybody knows that clouds do not have bones because they're made of cotton candy... ;-)

Sweet of you to do a guest post :)

wonderful holidays to you. We have spent several in the islands my kids all remember saying it doesn't seem like the holidays (even tho we live in California we still have cold and snow just above us in the Sierras)
The celebrating really is on our hearts :)

Hugs to you Cloudia

While watching the video I remembered seeing a travel video made in the 1930's showing the same area. Needless to say there was a big difference.

Great post.

What i like about clouds is that no two clouds are the same shape or size purely ramdom. Nice poem too.

Wonderful cloud shot and a beautiful, steady descent - the camera held perfectly steady, too, clearly capturing the island's coast below. Quite a feat! I held my breath!

I once had a dream about a rainbow that fell and broke. I've tried to write a poem about it but have never quite captured it.
