Ah,
the famous
Chinese curse:
"May you live
in interesting
times."
So clever.
Sounds like something
a mean-girl would say.
It sounds nice,
until it
sinks in!
Predictable
is nice:
a home,
food,
loved ones.
Interesting times
means
problems.
But I'm gonna
fool them!
I'm gonna
enjoy
these interesting
times we've got.
It's all just
a matter of
PERspective.
Won't YOU
join me?
Thank YOU-
Warmly, cloudia

Yeah, I've noticed that. Somethings really stick in my head while other memories I want to keep just slip away.
Well put. Sorry I have not been around...way too busy lately. Caught up and love the photographs.
and it is a good cruise ship. Holland America.

I know that curse well!! But maybe your perspective on it is better - embrace the interesting times... Why not?!
Is the kingsolver quote from the Lacuna? Have you read it?
Interesting times indeed. But I guess, these are the good ol' days.
Thanks for the photos and quotes always.
You've got the little bird's view in the big bird sky! I'd rather cause enough trouble to be noticed when I exit this world...DrumMajor
I find life a little boring without "interesting times." And I love the sparrow tucked safely inside the Q!! Wonderful pictures and perspectives.
Love the little sparrow. :-)
Being felt of comfort.

Barbara Kingsolver is one of my favourite authors. So pleased to see that you like her work too.
Great quotes, great photos and a wonderful perspective on life. Thank you.
The first picture looks like the last scene from Speed (the ship version).
I really like all the quotes, they hit me in a big way.
