A L O H A !
I Still can't forget
what I saw today-
Just another beautiful morning
for my walk
here in Waikiki.
Until -
Until -
Two uniformed officials
confronted a rather
pugnacious looking fellow
in yellow.
(Those numbers tattooed on his forehead
made him look scary)
(Those numbers tattooed on his forehead
made him look scary)
"Don't resist, sir"
I heard one official say.
A shot rang out!
What happened next
I cannot say.
I Ran a block
in record time.
Another bystander
broke down
and cried!
but seriously:
" There are not enough
good things said
about the people that
put themselves
put themselves
in harms way
every day
for us.
What does that say
What does that say
about us? "

I would have run too.....
amazing & awesome sky in that first photo.
as far as the crime scene you witnessed...i'm right behind ya...and yes, we don't always give enough thanks to those who put their lives on the line for us...every day.
The cloud looks like it's going to belly-flop onto the ground. Shots? Someone shoot at the orange guard? Where did it come from? Be careful! DrumMajor
The first photo is spectacular. The others are utterly cute.
Thanks for the good YOU do.
I'd have run too!
Life is good!!!! (And apparently, the streets of Honolulu are safe).
LOL
It's all in the way you look at it too.
Indeed. I was watching ch. 2 news and at the very end of the show that talked about a boy who is helping his neighbor by selling lemonade to get money for her house repairs. I just thought why don't they have good news during the beginning of the broadcast. Have a sweet weedend, Cloudia. Cheers!!
Glad you're okay. And that you can still run!!
It is indeed a time to wonder and maybe need of a super hero. Just read about Batman. What a thoughtful entry.
Thank YOU every one!
Drum Major: Thanks for the well-wishes, but it is a comedy piece.
Amen and Amen! The guy in Yellow was just tired of getting peed on every day! The Shots are awesome my Sista!
Hugs,
J
I'll never forget your post when you scared that guy away from your boat and then followed him back to his hotel! A gutsy broad, you.
You are so clever. I never see things this way. Just too literal. But, I do appreciate your creativity and humor.
There really aren't enough good things said to, or about the people that keep us safe, or money for that matter.
A good post. Such vivid imagination :)
Thanks for following my blog :)
So clever and funny of you, Cloudia. Creative you. :)
Thanks dear Friend - each of YOU
mean a LOT!
So true, my friend. Thank you for making me smile!
I too am so grateful for all the men and women who put themselves into harm's way everyday. I remember my son telling me how scary some of his jobs as a firefighter were, but you went out and did your job because that was what you were trained to do.
