Rest Day

A   L   O   H   A  !

No one
can get inner peace
 by pouncing on it. "

Harry Emerson Fosdick

" Being rich is having money;
being wealthy is having time. "

Stephen Swid

" To be nobody but yourself
 in a world which is doing its best,
 night and day,
 to make you everybody else
means to fight the hardest battle
 which any human being
can fight;
and never stop fighting.  "

e. e. cummings

 Sunday - Day of Rest

" Take rest;
a field that has rested
gives a bountiful crop.  "

The best gift
 you can give
is  rest
and return

We think there will
always be time
for our own particular joys-
but to often when play time comes
 we have forgotten
what games we enjoy-
and who
 we were
before we got
so busy.

There are many influencers
guilt-ing us to DO!

But don't you listen.

Taking a few seconds,
to pause,
to listen to another,
to smile,
to not rush away -

Those are the seconds
of wealth
accruing rich interest
in the only account
that matters.

Greetings Cloudia, you are so right about taking time to play, and today is that day. Just myself and an 8 and 11 year old (boys) going to the Medieval Fair- today at Caponi Art Park. Let the games and the Middle Ages come back to life today! Medieval justice was a quaint thing! May play and happiness follow you all day long-Karen

Played today about eight hours with my son. Until he was falling asleep. Yes, a rarely wonderful Sunday over here.

Please have you all a good new month and week ahead.
