Oliver Wendell Holmes

" I detest

the person who hides

one thing in the depths

of the heart

and yet

speaks forth another. "

" The main things

on their own account,

 and not merely as means

 to other things,

 instinctive happiness,

"Bird?!      Where What?!"

"It is one of the blessings

of old friends

that you can afford

to be

stupid with them. "

Ralph Waldo Emerson

So, if kitty is indoors, how does she know to want to chase the birdie? I like being stupid with friends...a good thing, especially in Paradise! DrumMajor

Lots of those folks who hide one thing and speak another. What is scarier is when the ones speak what they really feel beneath and it is evil. Like Pat Robertson perhaps.

Ha. I love the bird picture, and that of your incredulous cat.

Thanks for the good wishes. I'll use them and send them back to you. Happy weekend.
