Atmospherics

A L O H A From Honolulu!

In the sweetness of friendship
let there be laughter, and
sharing of pleasures. For
in the dew of little things
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.
Khalil Gibran

Without atmosphere
a painting is nothing.
Rembrandt Harmenszoon Van Rijn
Born: July 15, 1606, Leiden, Netherlands

A happy life must be
to a great extent a quiet life,
for it is only in an atmosphere
of quiet that true joy dare live.
Bertrand Russell

A new idea must not be
judged by its immediate results. Nikola Tesla

Passiflora incarnata, commonly known as maypop, purple passionflower, true passionflower, wild apricot,
and wild passion vine,

If we look at the world
with a love of life,
the world will reveal
its beauty to us.
      Daisaku Ikeda

Life is full of awe
and grace and truth,
mystery and wonder.
I live in that atmosphere.

A very timely post for me. When I woke up a few hours ago, I stated my intention to float along on the river of air that surrounds me. It's all about breathing today!

Great pictures today, Cloudia. My favorites are Pixie and the gecko. It looks like they are staring at each other outside the frames of their respective photos.

Yes, new ideas definitely need time to take root. They may seem weird in the beginning.

I had passionfruit flowers growing wild on land I owned in Arkansas many years ago. Those flowers were so beautiful. I miss them. That moon picture was so dramatic. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

There is a house down the road from me that has palm trees in the front yard. Every fall the owners put up scaffolding and plastic then put in heat lamps to make it through the winter.
