Perhaps YOU'd like to blog about this episode in history

in order to tell a family member's exploits wrangling such

elephants. BUT there are NO family pictures of Gertrude

delivering milk in the village by drawing a cart driven by

Uncle Horace. What to do?  

Did YOU know that even an

innocent, doddering, harmless, non-commercial blogger

like me could be SUED in COURT by the owner of an

image I unknowing use without permission?

is now a search category,

 everything from No such filter to

If you ever spent a night in jail

even years ago

I bet you understood today's

title immediately.

This morning, I left my apt

for the first time in, days,

many days - that's all I can

definitively say.

It was the first day I could

imagine seeing another person,

or having THEM see me!

I hid behind sunglasses, under a helmet,

wore my gloves, and rode my scooter

to the post office, my usual morning 

WALK.

What a kick!

And, you know, 

Waikiki REALLY is

beautiful!

Though I have a dynamite view,

and a lanai (balcony)

there is something WONDERFUL

about moving through space!

I'm back in bed, now

surrounded by mail,

coloring outside the lines and avoiding

house work. I want to go back out there

sometime!

I'm getting better.

I haven't been outside in days!

This Lingering Ick sure is. . . 

um, lingering.

Though clearly I am mending.

The mad dreams

have been the best part.

Yesterday, I was paling

around with a famous

baseball player.

The best one

was the long distance call

from my Dad,

though it stung a bit

when I woke

 and remembered.

Looking out my window,

reading your comments,

visiting your blogs 

(as I am able)

is the best part of 

this time of sickness.

When I was younger and on my own

I could not afford to get sick!

My car could NOT break down either!

(my old Volkswagens :)

Angels must have been helping me.

Somehow,

for years it all stayed together,

though now I recall,

my dad helped me out

on occasion

actually rolling up his sleeves

and going out to clean

the banks I had to clean.

Nice of him to look in again!

Let's spare a thought

for those one illness,

one paycheck away,

from homelessness-
