In Wintertime, Honolulu

too wakes in the dark.

But then the sun,

the subtropical sun,

asserts itself.

And it is balmy.

Here in Northern

California, waking

in the dark, the 

cold, the fog. . .

Well, the dark mornings

were bumming me out a bit.

So I bought a light box

for the treatment of 

Seasonal Affective Disorder.

I knew from the research

that it could help.

But I had no idea

how dramatic a 

change it can make!

Shining the light on my face

for a half hour in the 

dark morning

has made me feel

bubbly, light, and

full of light

for the rest of the day!

After a day at the beach

you can still see the

sun in your head

as you fall asleep.

This is like that.

I feel light inside

and notice light

everywhere outside.

I'm drawn to it;

and spending more

time outside in

the sun.

So word to the wise:
